Happy Fall Y'all!

Since I'm not quite ready to share any of the completed crafts/projects that we've done so far, I thought I'd share some Fall PINspiration. (If you don't already know, I am slightly addicted to Pinterest!) 

LOVE these paper pumpkins! I'm pretty sure we did something like this in elementary school, but it was much more cutesy. These are the grown up version.

 

And this felt pumpkin...Super simple!

Love everything about this mantle- the pop of color in the leaves, the burlap pendant banner, the fall inspired photos and the oversized mirror... Our next home have a fireplace and mantle. And it's sole purpose will be for me to decorate it.

 

 Is it just me, or does anyone else love this wreath?! And she only spent $5... I think we could TOTALLY get along!

 

Here's another cute idea for the front door. Another pinner suggested using burner covers for a similar look for less.

 

And call me crazy, but I think these vampire (or grampire, as my niece used to call them) pumpkins are cute.

And last but not least these fleece hats... LOVE them! Little man will have at least one of these!

Anyone else have ideas I need to add to my to-do list? How about any other Pinterest addicts?

A Fresh Start

  I'm making it a goal to start blogging again. I've tried it before, and it only lasted until the new wore off. But I want to be able to document our lives in some way, since I'll obviously never make it as a professional scrapbooker... (The last scrapbook I attempted was a gift for hubby while we were still dating... It's still sitting in closet somewhere, with only 3 pages done...)

But I digress! Now that we've started a family, I want to be able slow down and enjoy watching our boy grow and still be able to look back at all the fun things we've done... I'm a sap like that! It's worse when I'm pregnant. And once a month... (I forgot to mention, if anyone's actually reading this besides me... I share WAY too much! And I like potty humor... You've been warned!)

So here are my goals for this month (since it totally just hit me yesterday, that it's October and Halloween is only 20-some days away?!):

Looks like I'm gonna be busy the rest of the month... Anyone have any suggestions of things to add or a new fall tradition to add? (Mom? You out there?)
